Limited Edition Steiff Bierwagen-Gespann Beer Wagon Team Display Model
Description
A limited edition Steiff Bierwagen-Gespann or Beer Wagon Team display model, number 186 of an edition of 500. The set is presented on a stepped wooden base with a clear acrylic display cover. The display consists of four black plush horses, each wearing a red leather harness with metal stud detailing and featuring a white Steiff Knopf im Ohr button in ear tag. These horses are harnessed to a wooden beer wagon stacked with multiple wooden barrels. The wagon is populated by three Steiff teddy bears in traditional Bavarian attire, including hats and waistcoats. The assembly is decorated with a blue and white spiralled arch and two floral arrangements. A brass-toned metal plaque is mounted to the wooden plinth, bearing the inscription BIERWAGEN-GESPANN, LED: 186/500, and the Steiff trademark logo. Materials include wood for the wagon, barrels and base, plush for the horses and bears, leather for the harnesses, and acrylic for the protective casing.
