Three Harrods Annual Teddy Bears dated 1991, 1999 and 2012
Description
A collection of three plush teddy bears from the Harrods Annual Bear series, manufactured for Harrods, London. The group includes the 1991, 1999 and 2012 editions. The 1999 bear is constructed from shaggy pinkish-brown plush fur and wears a matching red hat and scarf, the latter featuring a small bear emblem. Its left red fabric paw pad is embroidered with Harrods and 1999 in gold-coloured thread. The 1991 bear features curly golden-brown plush fur and wears a dark green knitted jumper. Its left green fabric paw pad is embroidered with Harrods and 1991 in gold-coloured thread. A small adhesive sticker is attached to the same foot pad reading 9735 over the letter p. The 2012 bear has light brown textured plush fur and is dressed in a white shirt with a bow tie and a black waistcoat decorated with gold-coloured celestial moon and star motifs. The right paw pad is embroidered with The Annual Bear and the left with Harrods 2012. This bear is housed in its original green cardboard display box printed with Harrods and The Annual Bear.
