Lot 142: A Large Collection of Vintage Die-cast Miniature Vehicles and Accessories

An extensive collection of assorted vintage die-cast miniature vehicles and related accessories. The lot comprises a variety of models including passenger cars, commercial lorries, buses, agricultural machinery such as tractors, emergency vehicles, and a multi-car transporter. A notable component of the group is a toy building accessory with a red and white roof displaying a sign for HOME STORES, which is a known Matchbox Lesney 1-75 series accessory. The vehicles are predominantly constructed with die-cast metal bodies. Wheel types vary across the collection, featuring both early metal wheels and later plastic versions. Some commercial models include basic moving parts such as tipping mechanisms. The collection appears to consist largely of British-made toys, primarily attributed to Matchbox (Lesney), with potential inclusions from manufacturers such as Dinky Toys and Corgi Toys.
