Description
A vintage Echo brand Road Power battery-operated toy steam engine, model D51101. The locomotive is constructed primarily from moulded plastic with a red boiler, black chassis and cab, and gold-toned metallic finish accents. According to the packaging, the engine features Mystery Action bump-and-go movement, an automatic signal horn, a functional signal headlight, and a chimney designed to produce a smoky effect. The cab is marked with the alphanumeric code D51101. The toy is powered by two D-size batteries. It is housed in its original colour-illustrated window box, which displays the Echo brand logo within a green circular emblem.
