Description
This lot comprises two decorative ceramic items from the mid-20th century. The first is a large standing figurine of a young man or boy in traditional uniform-style dress, featuring a green forage-style cap, a green buttoned tunic with dark lapels, dark trousers, and dark shoes. The figure stands on an integral textured rectangular base. The second item is a decorative wall-hanging plaque or mask depicting the face of a smiling child with blue eyes and reddish-brown curly hair, wearing a large, stylized bow or scarf in tones of yellow and green. Both items are made of glazed earthenware and feature hand-painted details.
