A Large Patinated Resin Figure of St George and the Dragon
Description
A cold-cast resin figure depicting the traditional subject of St George and the Dragon. The sculpture features a knight in full plate armour mounted on a rearing charger, brandishing a long spear directed towards a dragon coiled on the rocky ground below. The piece is finished with a dark patina intended to simulate the appearance of bronze. A white adhesive label with the handwritten numbers 501 is present on the horse’s flank. The sculpture is set upon an integral, textured rocky base.
