Description
A British First World War campaign medal, specifically the 1914-15 Star. The award is constructed from bronze in the form of a four-pointed star, topped with a royal crown. The obverse features two crossed swords with a laurel wreath and a central scroll bearing the dates 1914-15. The base of the wreath contains the Royal Cypher GV for King George V. The reverse is officially impressed with the recipient’s details: T3-026718 DVR: T. J. ROBINSON. A.S.C. The service number prefix T3 indicates the recipient served as a driver in the Horse Transport section of the third New Army within the Army Service Corps.
