A Detailed Static Display Model of the British Battleship HMS King George V
Description
A detailed static display model of the British battleship HMS King George V, the lead ship of her class. The model is finished in a wartime naval grey paint scheme with a red anti-fouling lower hull. It accurately depicts the vessel’s distinctive armament configuration, including two quadruple and one twin 14-inch main battery turrets. The superstructure is detailed with secondary batteries, masts, and various deck fittings. The ship is mounted on a stand within a glass and metal display case. Included on the display is a circular commemorative badge featuring a crowned Royal Cypher (GR) and a descriptive nameplate inscribed BRITISH BATTLESHIP KING GEORGE V. A white rectangular sticker with the handwritten digits 9703 is attached to the bow.
