Lot 400: A Patinated Cast Metal Bust of a Female Figure in the Classical Style

A cast metal bust of a female figure produced in a classical style. The sculpture depicts the woman with her head tilted upwards and her hair styled in detailed waves gathered at the back. The object features a dark patina and is hollow-cast with an unfinished, irregular underside, suggesting it was originally part of a larger architectural or garden installation. No signatures, foundry marks, or edition numbers are visible on the surface. A small white paper sticker with the handwritten characters 4, 6, 2, 8 is adhered to the chest. The casting shows rough marks on the interior consistent with sand casting or similar production methods.
