The central field is decorated with five interlocking diamond medallions in salmon and cream tones, accented with charcoal and light blue geometric motifs including four-pointed stars. The design is enclosed by a geometric border. The rug features a wool pile on a wool or cotton foundation, showing characteristic abrash throughout the field indicating the use of varied dye batches.
