Unmarked, Victorian-style Collector Dolls, Bisque and Cloth, 12-18 inches
Description
A collection of six contemporary collector dolls, including examples similar to the Soft Expressions and Little Ladies ranges. Each doll is constructed with a bisque porcelain head, lower arms, and lower legs on a stuffed cloth body. The dolls feature fixed, inset acrylic eyes and various synthetic wigs in blonde and brunette shades. They are dressed in their original, elaborate Victorian-style costumes with lace, satin, and floral accents. One doll remains partially in its original box. Height 12 to 18 inches.
Condition report:
The porcelain components appear free from cracks or restoration. The cloth bodies are intact. The synthetic hair is significantly matted and dusty on several dolls. The original clothing is present but shows signs of storage wear and dust. The original box shows shelf wear.
