An Edwardian Style Mahogany Hall Stand
Description
An Edwardian style mahogany hall stand featuring a mirrored upper section. The top section contains a central bevelled glass panel surrounded by smaller mirror inserts. The wooden frame is fitted with four metal hooks for hats and coats. The mid-section includes a decorative fan-shaped splat. To the side is an integrated pedestal unit comprising two drawers, each fitted with round brass-toned knobs. The piece is supported by an open base shelf and turned feet. The construction is of dark-stained wood with a polished finish.
Condition report:
The hall stand is in good overall condition. There is minor surface wear, including light scratches and small indentations to the wood, consistent with age and domestic use. The mirror plates are clear with no significant silvering loss. The metal hardware shows a light aged patina.
