Lot 375: A Collection of 20th Century Cut and Pressed Glass Tableware Including a Pierced Rim Bowl and a Crystal Basket

A varied collection of 20th-century decorative glass and mixed-media tabletop items. The grouping features a large clear glass centrepiece bowl with a wide, pierced-cut rim that displays a green luminescence. Also included is a heavily cut glass basket-form bowl with an integral handle, decorated with classic diamond and fan motifs. The lot further comprises two square clear glass containers housed within decorative wirework metal cages with handles, a small trumpet-shaped fluted glass vase, and a small rectangular glass trinket box with a metal frame and hinged lid. The glass components exhibit a combination of hand-cut and pressed or moulded techniques. While no maker’s marks are visible, the pieces represent a range of mid-to-late 20th-century styles and manufacturing methods.
