Lot 91: A Framed Print Depicting Two Terriers (West Highland White and Scottish Terrier)

A single framed color print or lithograph depicting a portrait of two terriers posed shoulder-to-shoulder. The subject features a white dog, likely a West Highland White Terrier, and a black dog, likely a Scottish Terrier, against a neutral background. The print is presented beneath glass within a cream-colored mat. The composition is framed in a composite moulding featuring a wide black outer section and an inner textured gilt liner. Research suggests the subject matter and style are consistent with prints after the work of artist Lucy Dawson, known for her dog portraits. Visible markings include an inventory or price sticker labeled 6182 affixed to the upper left of the mat, and an auction sticker reading Shelbys Auctioneers Ltd lot 91 in the lower right corner.
