Lot 454: A Pair of Framed Circular Plaques with Genre Scenes

A pair of circular framed plaques, each featuring a central circular insert depicting a colorful genre scene. The inserts appear to be either ceramic transfer prints or hand-painted ceramic elements. The plaque on the left is set within a dark brown hardwood frame featuring a brass-colored inner fillet, illustrating a group of figures engaged in a lively outdoor activity, possibly a tug-of-war. The plaque on the right is set in a slightly lighter brown wood frame and is fitted with a hanging loop. This plaque depicts figures, including adults and children, gathering near water with smoke rising, suggesting a winter or pastoral setting. The right plaque bears a white sticker with the blue handwritten number 6132.
