Lot 326: Antique Victorian Wicker and Metal Baby or Doll Carriage

A single antique or vintage carriage, constructed with a high body of woven wicker set upon a metal chassis. The style is consistent with late 19th or early 20th-century Victorian or Edwardian design. The carriage features four large, thin, spoked metal wheels. The folding hood structure incorporates ornate, scrolled reddish-brown metalwork and is lined with dark fabric. The body interior is lined with a tan printed fabric featuring a small repeating pattern, and it contains a separate light blue fabric cushion. The handle is equipped with a turned wooden crossbar. A small white label marked “2819” is visible on the frame near the handle.
