This is a single circular ceramic shallow bowl or pin dish manufactured by Moorcroft. The piece features the highly recognizable Hibiscus pattern, rendered in molded relief under a thick, high-gloss glaze. The interior decoration depicts a stylized tropical bloom in vibrant red, blue, and yellow hues, complemented by a green leaf, set against a deep teal-green ground. The base holds a remnant of the original circular paper label indicating a Royal Warrant, reading in part: “BY APPOINTMENT POTTERS TO THE LATE QUEEN MARY.” A separate rectangular white inventory sticker bearing the handwritten number “8173” is affixed to the interior rim.
