Lot 188: Unique Art Lapis Lazuli Gemstone Terrestrial World Globe on Brass Stand

A terrestrial world globe attributed to Unique Art, featuring a sphere meticulously inlaid with semi-precious stones. The oceans are represented by deep blue Lapis Lazuli, while the continents and countries are formed by various colored stones, including green, red, brown, and mother-of-pearl accents. Geographic labels such as EUROPE are clearly visible, inlaid in a light contrasting material. The globe is mounted on a polished brass stand, which includes a calibrated brass meridian and a surrounding horizon ring. The stand rests on a pedestal featuring four turned legs and a cross-form base.
