Lot 128: A Pair of Bentwood Style X-Back Dining Chairs

A pair of dining chairs executed in the bentwood style, commonly associated with bistro or farmhouse designs. Each chair is constructed of solid wood exhibiting a medium-to-honey-brown color with a glossy, reflective finish. The design features a contoured, solid wood saddle seat and an X-back (cross-back) backrest. The backrest is formed by two bent vertical uprights supporting two crossed horizontal slats secured by visible metal hardware at the intersection and attachment points. The legs and stretchers display typical bentwood curvature. The chairs bear no discernible maker’s marks or labels.
