Lot 346: A Collection of Seven Decorative Wooden Boxes and Three Bound Volumes

This lot comprises seven small decorative boxes and three heavily worn bound volumes. The boxes are predominantly crafted from wood, showcasing a variety of decorative techniques including marquetry or painted floral and foliate motifs on a large sloping lid box, geometric and striped inlays, and painted scenes featuring figures and landscapes on rectangular boxes. One box features a Celtic knot design, while another tall box has brass-toned metal corner straps, a central finial, and a keyhole. The three bound volumes appear to be small, old books with worn, possibly leather or paper covers, exhibiting a mottled pattern. No legible text or manufacturer’s marks are discernible.
