Lot 36: A Framed Print of a Coastal Lighthouse Scene

A framed print depicting a coastal scene, featuring a white lighthouse or building situated on a rocky headland overlooking a churning sea, beneath a cloudy sky with a bright central light source. The foreground shows a grassy slope abundant with yellow wildflowers, rendered in a realistic to semi-impressionistic style. The artwork is presented under glass and housed in a substantial multi-part wooden frame with a dark brown outer profile and a gilded inner border, surrounding a wide, cream-colored mat. A small white label adhered to the mat in the lower right corner displays ‘Drakes Auctions Ltd’, ’36’, and ‘501’.
