Lot 311: A Large Collection of Ringtons Willow Pattern Dinnerware and Tea/Coffee Service

A large collection of Ringtons Willow Pattern dinnerware and tea/coffee service, likely manufactured by Wade Ceramics for Ringtons Ltd. This extensive collection comprises white-bodied ceramic items, uniformly decorated in a blue and white Chinoiserie transferware style, characteristic of the “Willow Pattern” or similar scenic patterns. Motifs include pagodas, bridges, boats, and detailed landscape elements, frequently bordered by intricate geometric and floral designs. The assortment includes numerous stacked plates, various cups (some with handles, some without), one distinctive mug inscribed “Millennium 2000” on its base, a large teapot, a creamer, a sugar bowl, a lidded rectangular dish (likely a butter dish), a toast rack, and a pair of salt and pepper shakers. Many items feature gold trim along rims and handles, suggesting porcelain or fine earthenware construction.
