Lot 287: A Collection of KLM Blue Delft House Bottles

A collection of approximately twenty miniature ceramic decanters, each modeled as a distinct Dutch gabled canal house or building. Executed in the traditional blue and white Delftware style, these glazed ceramic items feature intricate architectural details. Visible text on the bases indicates they were “exclusively made for KLM” by “BOLS AMSTERDAM 1575” or “DePorceleyneFles Holland,” identifying them as promotional items for the Royal Dutch Airlines. Several houses retain their original yellow-capped stoppers.
