This lot consists of three distinct printed items. The first is a copy of The History of Rock magazine, issue number 8, published by Orbis Publishing circa the early 1980s. The front cover features Little Richard and carries a cover price of 70p. The reverse includes an advertisement for the series’ dedicated binders. The second item is a small-format paperback guidebook titled Austick’s Guide to Leeds, Revised Sixth Edition, published by Austick’s of Leeds with a cover price of 1/6. The third item is a large-format hardcover book containing high-quality black and white photographic plates. Visible subjects within the open volume include a classical Greek-style colonnade and a landscape identified as Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone National Park. The text accompanying the plates suggests a mid-20th-century geographical or architectural survey.
