A Nautical Ceramic and Leaded Glass Lighthouse Table Lamp with Sailboat
Description
A decorative table lamp modelled as a lighthouse with an accompanying sailboat, in the style of Lenox nautical figurines. The conical tower is finished in an ivory-coloured glaze with textured horizontal banding, featuring four inset coloured glass cabochon portholes in clear, green, red, and blue. The tower is detailed with pierced brass-toned metal galleries at both the base and the top. The lantern room at the summit houses a small light bulb beneath a dark-finished, rounded dome. Attached to the side of the tower is a miniature sailboat featuring a metal frame and leaded slag glass sails in opaque white and translucent teal. The entire assembly is mounted on a base moulded and painted to resemble natural rock. A small white adhesive label with the handwritten number 9776 is affixed to the centre of the lighthouse body. No manufacturer’s marks are visible.
