A Replica North West Canada Medal 1885 with Saskatchewan Clasp
Description
This is a replica of the North West Canada Medal, 1885. The silver-toned medal features the crowned and veiled effigy of Queen Victoria on the obverse, surrounded by the legend VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX. The reverse depicts the text NORTH WEST 1885 CANADA positioned within a wreath of maple leaves. The medal is suspended from a slate blue ribbon with two crimson stripes, which carries a single clasp inscribed SASKATCHEWAN. The edge of the medal is plain and unnamed. A white rectangular inventory sticker with the handwritten digits 9703 is adhered to the ribbon.
