Description
A detailed historical military diorama featuring a multi-barrelled Gatling gun mounted on a blue-painted field carriage with large spoked wheels. The carriage is harnessed to a pair of oxen with fine metal chains. The scene includes four miniature soldiers in uniforms characteristic of the late 19th-century US Cavalry, including blue tunics, yellow trouser stripes, and wide-brimmed campaign hats. One figure is positioned at the front leading the oxen, while others are situated on or around the gun carriage. The figures and equipment appear to be crafted from painted metal or resin with high-quality detail. The entire scene is mounted on a textured landscape base composed of sand, pebbles, and moss, set upon an oval polished wooden base with a bevelled edge. A small white label on the top of the wooden base displays the handwritten inventory number 9703.
