Description
A collection of assorted die-cast and plastic model aircraft representing various eras of military aviation. The group includes a 1:72 scale model of a 1918 S.E.5a biplane mounted on a black plastic display stand inscribed United Kingdom 1918 S.E.5a. Also included is a Hawker Hurricane night fighter in a black livery featuring shark-mouth nose art and fuselage codes DZ Z. Other models comprise an English Electric Lightning jet fighter in a silver finish on a display stand, a four-engine bomber in a silver finish with fuselage codes O KD, a Sopwith-style biplane on a black stand, a camouflaged monoplane fighter, and a heavily weathered WWI-era biplane. The models are constructed from a combination of die-cast metal and plastic components.
