This dining suite is a fine example of late 20th-century Colonial Revival furniture, crafted from solid foreign hardwood, specifically rustic alder. The set consists of a substantial rectangular dining table and a matched set of six ladder-back chairs. The table features a traditional plank-top construction with rounded edges and a warm cherry-toned finish that highlights the natural grain of the timber. The accompanying chairs, known as Maine ladder-backs, are designed with four distinctive wavy horizontal slats and are fitted with seats upholstered in a patterned fabric.
