Late Victorian Stained Wood Architectural Wall Mirror with Inset Chromolithograph Panels
Description
A late Victorian or Edwardian wall mirror of architectural form, featuring a dark-stained wooden frame, possibly oak. The construction includes a tiered design with prominent chamfered corner terminals and a vertical divider. One section houses a rectangular mirror plate, while the adjacent section contains two vertically stacked inset panels. These panels feature coloured chromolithographs depicting romanticised scenes of children. The item is equipped with two metal ring-pull mounting brackets at the top and bottom for wall hanging. A small, illegible white adhesive label is present on the mirror plate. No other maker marks or stamps are visible on the front of the piece.
