A Set of Five Mid-Century Teak Dining Chairs Attributed to A.H. McIntosh
Description
A set of five mid-century modern dining chairs, consisting of one carver armchair and four side chairs. This set is attributed to the Scottish manufacturer A.H. McIntosh of Kirkcaldy, dating from the 1960s. The frames are constructed from teak and afromosia, featuring a ladder-back design with four horizontal, gently tapered and curved slats. The chairs are supported by four tapered legs. The carver chair features integrated curved armrests supported by angled struts. All five chairs are fitted with fixed seats upholstered in a sage green vinyl leatherette. A small white inventory label is present on the top rail of the carver chair.
