Description

A suite of Masonic regalia associated with the Provincial Grand Lodge of East Lancashire, Holy Royal Arch. The set includes a ceremonial apron, a sash, and a pair of gauntlets, all contained within a fitted carrying case. The apron is constructed from blue leather and fabric, featuring a wide gold-toned bullion braid border and fringe. It is adorned with a gilt-metal and enamel jewel depicting a bird and Masonic symbols within a circular border. The sash, or baldric, is made from a synthetic or silk ribbon featuring a repeating purple and blue diamond harlequin pattern, finished with gold-toned metallic fringe and cord tassels. The two matching blue fabric gauntlets feature gold-toned braid borders and embroidered central circular patches. These patches carry the inscription EAST LANCASHIRE surrounding a central triple tau symbol. The items are housed in a brown rectangular hardshell case with a blue flocked interior. A yellow measuring tape is visible in the image for scale.
