A Collection of Britains Style Hollow-Cast Lead Australian Infantry Figures and Artillery Gun
Description
A collection of hand-painted hollow-cast lead toy soldiers and a field gun, produced in the style of W. Britain. The figures depict Commonwealth infantrymen wearing slouch hats, characteristic of the Australian Imperial Force or South African units. The group includes an officer with a drawn sword, several infantrymen with rifles in varied poses, and an artillery crewman. The field gun is finished in a desert sand tan paint scheme and features two spoked wheels. The components are manufactured from hollow-cast lead alloy. There are no visible manufacturer or foundry marks on the figures or their bases. A white adhesive label with the handwritten numbers 105 and 4703 is present.
