A Set of Hand-Painted Cast Metal Miniature Scottish Regimental Band Toy Soldiers
Description
A set of cast metal miniature toy soldiers representing a Scottish regimental band in service dress. The figures are hand-painted and mounted on two white rectangular display bases. The collection includes a Drum Major holding a silver-coloured mace and drummers depicted in kilts, khaki tunics, and leopard-skin or tiger-skin aprons. All figures wear glengarry headgear. A paper label with the handwritten number 9703 is affixed to one figure. No other maker marks or stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces or bases. The figures are rendered in the style of traditional British toy soldier manufacturers.
