A Group of Silver-Plated Tablewares Including a Candelabrum and a Butter Dish
Description
A group of silver-plated tablewares featuring various serving and decorative items. The collection includes a five-light candelabrum with four scrolled foliate arms and a central light, supported by a shaped base with moulded shell and floral motifs. A wire-frame condiment stand is included, featuring a circular base with engraved decoration and a central loop handle. The group also contains several open salt cellars, one of which retains a cobalt blue glass liner and a small salt spoon, along with a pair of pepper shakers. Completing the lot is a rectangular butter dish with a domed lid, resting on a tray with heavy repoussé scroll and floral ornamentation. A white adhesive auction label is affixed to the butter dish lid printed with SHELBY AUCTIONEERS LOT 366 and the number 0112352626, accompanied by a smaller white adhesive label with the handwritten characters 12852 17.
