A Collection of Vintage and Antiquarian Books Including Wisden Cricketers Almanacks and Childrens Literature

An assortment of vintage and antiquarian volumes spanning the late 19th and 20th centuries, comprising works on sport, fiction, and children’s literature. The collection features two editions of Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack, including a brown cloth-bound 1955 edition and an orange cloth-bound 1970 107th edition. The literature section includes an illustrated edition of Robinson Crusoe, published by Griffith, Farran Browne & Co. Ltd., London, presented in a clear protective sleeve. Scientific and sporting interest is represented by The Treasury of Science Fiction Classics published by Hanover House and a copy of Grounds of Appeal: First-Class Cricket. Children’s publications include two volumes by Raphael Tuck & Sons, Ltd.: Animal Legends from Many Lands by Rose Yeatman Woolf and The Book for Boys, alongside Our Book of Stories published by Ward, Lock & Co.
