A Trio of Second Nature Design Quarry Critters Composite Figurines
Description
A trio of animal figurines from the Quarry Critters range by Second Nature Design, dated 2000. The group comprises a large elephant, a cluster of three bears, and a smaller individual bear cub. Each piece is fashioned from a beige, stone-textured composite material with a distinctive speckled appearance. The base of the elephant features a printed black circular mark containing a stylized paw print logo and the text QUARRY CRITTERS, bordered by the words Second Nature Design ©2000; the name Ellie is printed above this mark in a cursive script. A matching circular mark is present on the base of the larger bear group, which is further identified by the printed title Billy & Friends. The smallest bear cub also bears the Quarry Critters circular mark on its underside. All three figurines are fitted with circular, dark brown protective felt pads to their bases.
