Description
An assortment of decorative ceramic items comprising a variety of forms and decorative styles. The collection includes a large shell-shaped planter featuring a pink-glazed interior and a white fluted exterior. A large lidded ceramic tureen is accompanied by a matching scalloped underplate, both decorated with a red floral transfer-printed border. A tall flared vase is ornamented with a blue ribbon and floral motif. The group also contains several miniature pieces, including teapots in various designs, a small mantle clock, teacups and saucers with floral patterns, a square relief-moulded vase with foliate decoration, and a small oval dish featuring a sepia-toned architectural scene. A white printed adhesive label is adhered to the tureen lid reading SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS LOT 311 0113260026, alongside a white handwritten adhesive label reading 12847 above the letter D. Several pieces bear printed marks to their bases which are not legible as specific names.
