Description
A collection of late 19th and early 20th-century English commemorative and souvenir earthenware items, comprising various mugs, tankards, and small jugs. The pieces are finished with a cream glaze and decorated with black transfer-printed designs, some featuring polychrome details and gilded rim accents. The collection includes a large jug with a portrait titled LORD KITCHENER and a mug commemorating THE BARNSLEY BRITISH CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY LIMITED. CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL / CORONATION JUBILEE / 1912. Other transfer decorations depict local landmarks, including BROMLEY CHURCH, along with various historical scenes and figures.
