A Collection of Approximately 120 Musical Theatre and Vocal Pop Vinyl LP Records and Three Carrying Cases
Description
A collection of approximately 100 to 120 vinyl LP records, predominantly featuring musical theatre soundtracks, stage and screen scores, and vocal pop from the mid-20th century. The records are 12-inch format and are housed in three separate storage containers.
Visible titles include the original motion picture soundtrack for Camelot, featuring Richard Harris and Vanessa Redgrave, bearing a printed Warner Bros. Records shield logo and the text ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUND TRACK. Another prominent title is Brigadoon, with lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, featuring a printed Philips shield logo on the sleeve. Also visible within the storage tub is a soundtrack for The King and I, showing a sleeve decorated with gold borders and production stills. A partial spine for the musical Oliver! is also visible.
The collection is stored in a black vinyl-covered carrying case with metal hardware, a brown textured vinyl-covered carrying case with a flip-down front and two metal latches, and a clear plastic storage tub which contains a red vinyl-covered record case alongside loose LPs.
