A Collection of Decorative Items Including Three Timepieces a Rose Medallion Porcelain Plate and Figurines
Description
A varied group of decorative objects. The collection includes a circular porcelain plate decorated in the Rose Medallion pattern, featuring four panels with alternating scenes of courtly figures in domestic settings and floral motifs with birds and butterflies, surrounding a central gilded medallion with a bird. The decoration consists of hand-painted enamels over transfer-printed outlines.
The group contains two figurines. The first is a painted composite figure of Charlie Chaplin in his Little Tramp persona, depicted in a dark green jacket, lilac-grey trousers, and a black bowler hat, standing on a rectangular black base. The second is a resin sculpture of a semi-draped female figure titled Lilac and Roses, shown holding a basket of flowers above her head, mounted on a circular wood-effect base.
Three timepieces are present: a rectangular brass carriage clock with glass side panels, a swing handle, and a gold-tone dial with Roman numerals; a silver-tone metal mantel clock with an ornate Rococo-style openwork frame featuring foliate scrolls; and a small desk clock set within a faceted clear glass or crystal body.
Also included is a rectangular black lacquered box decorated with gold-toned bamboo and floral sprays and featuring Chinese characters on the lid. The box contains a series of stacked trays. A red square seal mark and a gold-toned decorative border are visible on the lid.
