A Collection of Royal Albert Moss Rose Pattern Fine Bone China Tea and Dinner Wares
Description
An extensive collection of English fine bone china tea and dinner wares manufactured by Royal Albert. Each piece features transfer-printed decoration consisting of sprays of pink roses and rosebuds accompanied by green foliage and light blue forget-me-nots. The scalloped edges, rims, and handles are finished with hand-applied gilding. The collection comprises multiple large dinner plates, side plates, saucers, tea cups, coffee cups in the Montrose shape, a large lidded teapot, a lidded sugar bowl, a cream jug, a gravy boat with an integrated stand, a pair of salt and pepper shakers, and an open sugar bowl. The underside of a plate displays a transfer-printed factory mark in red and blue featuring a small floral sprig above the text “ROYAL ALBERT”, below which is “Bone China”, followed by “ENGLAND” in a smaller font, and finally “”MOSS ROSE””.
