A Set of Ercol Windsor Elm and Beech Dining Chairs
Description
An English set of elm and beech dining chairs, featuring two Quaker high-backed chairs and two hoop-backed chairs. Each chair is constructed with a steam-bent curved top rail and vertical spindles set into a shaped solid elm seat, supported by splayed and tapered legs. One chair bears a rectangular blue adhesive label to the underside of the seat; while the label is worn and has missing sections, it remains legible as MADE IN above ERCOL and ENGLAND.
