A Collection of Blue and White Willow Pattern Transfer-Printed Earthenware
Description
A group of approximately 20 pieces of earthenware decorated in the classic underglaze blue Willow pattern. This traditional design features a central landscape with a pagoda, a bridge with three figures, a willow tree, and a pair of birds in flight, all enclosed within varied geometric, diaper, and scroll borders. The collection consists of two large dinner plates with shaped, scalloped rims, several medium-sized circular plates, and three stacks of small side plates or saucers. There are no maker’s marks or factory backstamps visible on the undersides of the pieces.
