A Collection of Decorative Wooden Model Sailing Ships
Description
A group of wooden model sailing ships and historical vessels, presented within a glass-fronted display cabinet. The collection includes various designs with rigged masts and fabric sails. One model features a yellow and black painted hull and is labeled on the base as ACTIVE. Another model, with a black and white hull, is inscribed CONSTITUTION on its base. A third model, identified on its base plate as SANTA MARIA, features sails decorated with prominent red crosses. The models are constructed from wood with detailed string rigging and small flags, including the Union Jack and St George’s Cross. Several vessels are displayed on individual wooden stands. A lot tag numbered 501 is attached to one of the models.
