Description
A diverse collection of model boats and ships of varying scales and styles. The group includes a gaff-rigged sailing vessel featuring cream-coloured fabric sails and a wooden hull. Also included is a multi-masted sailing ship with sails and hull elements seemingly carved from bone or a similar natural material. The collection further comprises several motorised fishing trawlers with painted wooden hulls in shades of blue, green, and white, featuring detailed rigging and nets. One trawler, finished in blue and white, is mounted on a wooden stand with a small gold-toned plaque inscribed FLYING LADIES. The models are constructed from a variety of materials including wood, fabric, rigging wire, and natural carved materials.
