Description
A large, circular wall plaque of domed, pressed metal construction, dating from the mid-20th century. The central convex panel features a vibrant lithographic scene depicting a family of deer, including a prominent stag and multiple does, set within a stylized forest landscape of birch and evergreen trees bordering a lake. The composition is detailed with smaller wildlife elements, including birds in flight and a squirrel on a tree branch. The piece is framed by a raised, brass-toned rim featuring an embossed continuous Greek key pattern border. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on the front of the item. A small white rectangular adhesive auction label bearing the handwritten characters 9776 p is present on the left side of the scene.
