A Collection of Pauline Crawford Hand-Painted Porcelain Cabinet Wares
Description
A collection of fine porcelain cabinet pottery pieces, hand-painted by the artist Pauline Crawford. The items feature naturalistic scenes of British wildlife and livestock in highland settings. The collection includes two circular cabinet plates, one depicting a pheasant in a woodland clearing with a turquoise-green border and gilded detailing, and one depicting sheep in a misty highland landscape. Also included is a tea cup and saucer, and a rectangular snack set comprising a tray and matching cup, both featuring highland sheep motifs. Each piece is finished with a gilded rim and the hand-painted decoration is signed by the artist. The interior of the tea cup is decorated with a small floral spray.
