Description
A Border Fine Arts figurine titled Scenting the Air, model number MTR03, originally copyrighted in 1995. The piece depicts a realistic otter standing on its hind legs and leaning against a piece of driftwood. The figure is set upon a detailed base of textured rocks and river pebbles. It is crafted from hand-painted cast resin and is mounted on a circular, polished wooden plinth. The underside of the plinth is covered with a green protective felt. A gold manufacturer label is affixed to the base which reads: BORDER FINE ARTS / MTR03 / SCENTING THE AIR / HAND MADE IN SCOTLAND / © 1995 EEGG Ltd. A white auction lot sticker numbered 9754 is attached to the upper surface of the wooden base.
