A collection of four lithographed metal advertising signs, featuring classic brand imagery from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The collection includes a Bird’s Crystal Jelly Powder sign depicting an Edwardian party scene with the text Dissolves Instantly; a Fairbank’s Fairy Soap sign with a celestial fairy motif and the slogan The Soap of the Century; a Fry’s Milk Chocolate sign featuring the Five Girls variant of their famous advertisement; and an Art Deco-style Les Bas GUI hosiery advertisement depicting a woman in stockings. These items are contemporary decorative reproductions of historical advertisements, manufactured from lithographed tin with folded edges.
